Anderson Mikos Architects, ltd. renovated 5,715 sf and expanded 10,038 sf to create a new emergency department at this existing one-story hospital. Twelve new exam rooms, one trauma room, and a waiting and reception area will enable to staff to work more efficiently. An ambulance garage with two bays was also added.

Location Comment: The recent choice to manage diagnostic mammograms and screening mammograms in separate areas was brilliant and makes all the difference in specialized care. This was the first time I didn’t have to wait hours for a diagnostic while surrounded by women who were in and out after their screenings and I was able to remain calm and feel truly cared about for the first time in decades.
